Today’s Gratitude List

I have so much to appreciate today:

  • The kindness and professionalism of the staff, when I had my ultrasound this morning
  • Two new heartsease blossoms in my flower bed
  • Good food, eaten in good company
  • Leisure time to read and watch TV
  • A faintly self-satisfied glow from a short run … I can’t wait until I can run long distances again!

May your day be full of good things, too.

  2. We really must be sisters! I just finished writing my own blog on gratitude, and then I find you’ve done the same! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Ahhh … actually, your blog inspired mine ๐Ÿ™‚ I meant to include a reference to yours, you know, “Inspired by …” but I was too busy thinking about things I was grateful for! But yes, we must be truly “sisters of the heart” because I was feeling grateful at the time, which is why your post resonated with me. Anytime you find yourself in Australia there’s a spare room waiting for you ………..

    • He he, yes, well the bloke at the gym made me promise to do it. I’ve lost a lot of fitness lately. To be honest, I couldn’t run the whole twenty minutes, so I ended up resorting to the old ‘run 60 steps, walk 60 steps’ method. But, as you say, the important thing is that it happened ๐Ÿ™‚ I haven’t been to the pool for a while – must get back into it! Oh, how are you faring in that awful cold weather we’re hearing so much about? I do hope you’re OK.
